Early Study Abroad Preparation

조기유학 입학 준비 과정

  1. Decide to send your child to study abroad early.

  2. Obtain a recommendation from a specialized early‑childhood study‑abroad institute for a language school.

  3. Prepare the basic admission documents required for enrollment in a private or international school.

  4. Attend ESL classes at a language school in the Philippines for at least 2–3 months.

  5. Participate in audit classes at private or international schools in the Philippines prior to formal admission.

  6. Select a school and complete the required admission procedures.

  7. Take the entrance exam and interview; subsequent ESL placement at the school will be determined based on the results.

  8. Receive the admission notice and pay the tuition fees.

  9. Obtain school enrollment documents and, if applicable, SSP (Special Study Permit) issuance.

  10. Finalize admission.

Preparing Admission Documents

  1. Apostille of the “Life Record” (school records) up to the final year at the previous school.

  2. English copy of the resident registration.

  3. Passport plus two photocopies of the passport.

  4. Notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) from the parents naming a guardian in the Philippines.

 
 

Preparation Before Departure

  1. Create a passport and make two copies.

  2. Issue one English copy and one Korean copy; the original copy must be submitted upon arrival at the academy.

  3. Obtain an apostille for the previous year’s 

  4. Provide a notarized SPA document (Philippine‑guardian Special Power of Attorney). 

  5. Prepare 10 photos measuring 2 inches × 2 inches (5 cm × 5 cm).

  6. Pack carry‑on and checked luggage separately.

  7. Write your name on all personal items.

  8. Enroll in international student insurance.

  9. Prepare a math workbook — to be determined following a consultation.

  10. Take an English vocabulary and pattern level test to determine placement.
